Parkville Care Center is seeking a full-time Medicaid/Resident Trust Bookkeeper to join our Business Office. This role manages accounts receivable functions in compliance with facility policies and applicable long-term care regulations, with a focus on Medicaid billing and resident trust accounts. The Bookkeeper ensures accurate, timely resident billing and maintains strict confidentiality.

Job Responsibilities

  • Follow established policies and procedures for accounts receivable bookkeeping.

  • Maintain, update, and monitor computer ledgers.

  • Support the Business Office Manager with day-to-day office functions.

  • Compile and update ancillary information by payor type, date, and service type.

  • Prepare and submit Medicaid claims; monitor payments and follow up as needed.

  • Reconcile accounts and prepare adjustments.

  • Process the daily census accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Follow-up timely on Medicaid applications/redeterminations to maintain eligibility.

  • Manage and reconcile resident trust accounts daily.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Knowledge of skilled nursing facility Medicaid accounts receivable processes and resident trust workflows.

  • Working knowledge of Word, Outlook, Excel, PCC, and RFMS (experience preferred).

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across disciplines in a multicultural environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to speak and write in English
