Business Acquisition & Valuation Manager

Role Context

Persian Horizon operates an active business acquisition division in Dubai.
We evaluate and acquire operating businesses across multiple industries including retail, F&B, services, trading, and specialized sectors.

Before any acquisition decision, each business undergoes structured financial, operational and regulatory due diligence.

We are hiring a Business Acquisition & Valuation Manager to lead this function.

This role directly influences capital deployment decisions.

Role Scope & Authority

You will:

• Lead end-to-end evaluation of businesses under acquisition review
• Analyze companies across different sectors within the Dubai market
• Validate financial statements against bank records, VAT filings and operational data
• Perform earnings normalization and sustainability analysis
• Assess working capital exposure, liquidity stress and cash flow integrity
• Identify hidden liabilities and structural risks
• Review trade license status, regulatory exposure and compliance positioning
• Build valuation models using earnings-based and risk-adjusted approaches
• Run scenario and sensitivity analysis
• Structure detailed acquisition reports with clear Go / No-Go recommendations
• Present findings to internal decision makers
• Design and standardize internal due diligence frameworks
• Supervise and mentor the Senior Acquisition Analyst

Technology & Analytical Capability (Mandatory)

We expect strong technological proficiency.

You must be able to:

• Use AI tools to accelerate financial analysis and assumption validation
• Utilize data analysis platforms to extract insights from financial datasets
• Build structured financial models in Excel (advanced level mandatory)
• Apply technology to reduce review time while increasing analytical depth

Experience with the following is highly valued:

• Power BI
• Financial data visualization tools
• Analytical automation tools
• AI-assisted scenario modeling

This is a high-performance analytical role. Manual-only analysis mindset is not sufficient.

Required Experience

Applicants must demonstrate:

• Minimum 6–8 years experience in business acquisition, M&A, transaction advisory, or business brokerage analysis in UAE
• Proven experience evaluating multiple types of operating businesses in Dubai
• Experience issuing structured acquisition evaluation reports
• Strong financial forensic capability
• Deep understanding of UAE business risk landscape
• Advanced valuation logic and capital decision modeling

Manager-level candidates must have handled diverse business models in Dubai, not a single-sector exposure.
