We’re looking for a
Business Development Team Lead
to drive our growth in the insurance sector. In this role, you’ll take ownership of high-impact business development initiatives, build and manage strategic partnerships with insurance companies and corporate clients, and play a key role in scaling Chefaa’s footprint in the healthcare ecosystem.
You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, optimizing key account performance, and collaborating cross-functionally to develop and execute growth strategies.

Responsibilities

Drive the development and execution of strategic initiatives to acquire new business opportunities with insurance companies, TPAs, and corporate clients.

Lead market research and competitor analysis efforts to refine outreach strategy and identify areas for growth.

Craft tailored proposals and present Chefaa’s insurance solutions to high-potential partners with a strong value-driven approach.

Own the negotiation process and finalize high-impact partnership agreements that align with company objectives.

Take full ownership of newly acquired accounts and strengthen long-term partnerships with existing clients.

Act as the key liaison between clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment and smooth communication.

Proactively assess client needs and ensure seamless onboarding, service delivery, and ongoing collaboration.

Address client issues with urgency and professionalism, while continuously gathering feedback to drive internal improvements.

Monitor service delivery timelines and accuracy, ensuring high standards are consistently met.

Identify and act on opportunities for upselling or cross-selling, maximizing account value.

Prepare and present regular progress reports, insights, and forecasts for internal teams and external partners, leveraging key account metrics.
Requirements

5–7 years of proven experience in business development within insurance or brokerage companies, with a track record of driving strategic partnerships and delivering growth.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

Deep understanding of the insurance industry landscape, including TPAs, products, and competitive dynamics.

Strong strategic thinking and ownership mindset, with the ability to lead high-impact initiatives independently.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.

Ability to handle multiple priorities, manage deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Experience in preparing and presenting performance reports to internal and external stakeholders.
