Position Purpose:
Business Development & Partnerships Associate role will support the growth and expansion of LUMSx’s partnership initiatives. By actively engaging with external stakeholders and cultivating strategic relationships, the Associate will contribute to the organization's mission of promoting excellence in education and advancing innovative teaching and learning practices.
Key Responsibilities
:
Outreach & Lead Generation

Conduct proactive outreach to potential partners including educational institutions, businesses, and other relevant organizations.

Identify and generate leads through various channels including online research, networking events, and industry connections.
Customized Pitches

Develop and deliver customized pitches tailored to the specific needs and interests of prospective partners.

Collaborate with Partnerships Lead to create proposals and presentations.
Execution Support

Assist in the execution of customized courses and programs for partner organizations.

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and implementation of LUMSx offerings.
Data Management

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of partner organizations, contacts, and interactions.

Analyze data on organizations and market trends to identify potential partnership opportunities and inform strategy.
Market Research

Conduct research on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging educational technologies to inform partnership strategies.
Event Participation

Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to expand outreach and build relationships.
Coordination & Communication

Collaborate with other verticals within the organization to stay informed about current offerings and initiatives.

Ensure effective communication and coordination with internal teams to align partnership efforts with organizational goals.
Performance Metrics

Prepare regular reports on partnership activities, lead generation efforts, and key metrics to track progress and measure success.
Knowledge & Skills:

Familiarity with the education sector, including K-12, higher education, professional development, and lifelong learning. Knowledge of current trends, challenges, and opportunities in education.

Understanding of business development concepts and strategies, including lead generation, pipeline management, and relationship building. Knowledge of sales processes, negotiation techniques, and contract management.

Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.

Education:
Minimum requirement is a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, education, or a related field.
Experience:
1-3 years of experience is experience in business development, sales, or partnership management.
