Company Overview:
We are a growing digital services and software company working with international clients across the UK, USA, and Europe. We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Executive / Upwork Bidder who can bring high-quality projects and build long-term client relationships through freelancing platforms and direct outreach.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as an Upwork Bidder / Business Development Executive
- Proven track record of winning projects on Upwork
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of IT services (Web, Mobile, AI, Marketing, etc.)
- Ability to write persuasive, customized proposals
- Confident in handling international client calls
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and disciplined
- Familiarity with Trello, Slack, HubSpot, CRM or lead tracking tools is a plus
Work Requirements:
- Onsite position (not remote)
- Night shift: 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM
- Must be comfortable working with UK / US clients
Preferred Candidate:
- Based in Pakistan
- Experience working with UK / US clients
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Job Responsibilities:
- Actively bid on projects on Upwork (mandatory experience required)
- Identify relevant projects and submit customized, high-conversion proposals
- Research and identify potential clients through platforms such as Upwork, LinkedIn and job boards
- Maintain and update lead databases using CRM tools
- Assist with outreach via email and LinkedIn messages
- Conduct client calls and handle direct communication professionally
- Understand client pain points and align solutions accordingly
- Coordinate with the technical team to ensure accurate scope and timelines
- Maintain strong response rate and profile health on Upwork
- Negotiate pricing, project scope, and delivery timelines
- Maintain proper records of leads, proposals, follow-ups, and conversions
- Focus on long-term client retention and relationship building
- Contribute to overall business development efforts beyond just Upwork bidding
