Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to lead growth efforts in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction services or materials, a deep understanding of market dynamics, and a proven track record in B2B sales or client acquisition. This role involves strategic planning, market expansion, relationship building, and driving revenue through new and existing business channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in construction and infrastructure sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, architects, developers, and government bodies.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and bids to potential clients.
  • Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to drive growth.
  • Conduct thorough market research to stay informed of industry trends, competitors, and potential partnerships.
  • Participate in tenders, bids, and pre-qualification processes.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, project, finance) to ensure successful project execution.
  • Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and prepare regular progress reports for management.
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.

(Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.)

  • 3+ years of proven business development or sales experience in the construction industry (contracting, consultancy, materials, or equipment).
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, procurement practices, and client decision-making cycles.
  • Existing network of industry contacts is a strong advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
