Business Development Manager

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and target new business opportunities in commercial, residential, and industrial construction markets.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Develop strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and market share growth targets.
  • Lead the bid process: coordinate with estimators, project managers, and other internal stakeholders.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for business development-related inquiries.
  • Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry functions to build a strong professional network.

3. Market & Competitor Analysis

  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Monitor competitor activity and recommend strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

4. Project Acquisition Support

  • Collaborate with estimating and project teams to ensure alignment with client expectations during the tendering and negotiation phases.
  • Assist in drafting contracts and managing pre-construction negotiations.

5. Reporting & Strategy

  • Maintain CRM systems and prepare regular reports on business development activities.
  • Contribute to the company’s strategic planning and growth initiatives.

Qualifications:Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • MBA or similar advanced degree (preferred, not required).

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, preferably in general contracting or construction.
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets in the construction industry.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of construction methods, terminology, and bidding processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specs (preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
