Business Development Manager

Core responsibilities

  • Prospecting and lead generation: Identify new business opportunities and potential clients through market research, networking, and outbound calls.
  • Client relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Sales and strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, create persuasive proposals, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
  • Market analysis: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to understand industry trends and customer needs.
  • Collaboration: Work with internal teams (marketing, sales, product, etc.) to align on strategies and ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Reporting: Track and report on business development activities, progress, and results, often using CRM software.

Key skills and qualifications

  • Communication: Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills are essential for client interactions and proposal delivery.
  • Negotiation: Proven ability to negotiate deals and contracts to a successful close.
  • Relationship building: The ability to establish and nurture relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Goal-oriented: A results-driven mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Technical proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Education and experience: A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is often preferred, along with prior experience in sales or account management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
