Core responsibilities
- Prospecting and lead generation: Identify new business opportunities and potential clients through market research, networking, and outbound calls.
- Client relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Sales and strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, create persuasive proposals, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
- Market analysis: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to understand industry trends and customer needs.
- Collaboration: Work with internal teams (marketing, sales, product, etc.) to align on strategies and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Reporting: Track and report on business development activities, progress, and results, often using CRM software.
