Business Development Manager

This role is part of a strategic shift in our sales approach. We are moving away from cold calling and telemarketing and instead focusing on acquiring business through freelancing platforms and warm leads generated via social media marketing. As a result, this position will replace the current two telemarketing resources.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Search, analyze, and bid on relevant projects on Upwork and Fiverr.
  • Write customized and compelling proposals and offers.
  • Communicate with potential clients and handle initial discussions.
  • Understand client requirements and coordinate with the technical team.
  • Maintain and manage leads, follow-ups, and communication records.
  • Achieve monthly lead generation and conversion targets.

What We Look For

  • Proven experience as an Upwork/Fiverr Bidder or Business Development Executive.
  • Strong proposal writing and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Good understanding of IT services and project scopes.
  • Ability to identify genuine, relevant, and high-quality job postings.
  • Familiarity with Upwork and Fiverr policies, guidelines, and best practices.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with software houses or IT services companies.
  • Experience using CRM tools or lead management systems.
