Position: Business Development Manager – Domestic Sales (ICSS & Automation Solutions)

Locations: Bangalore & Kochi

Industry Focus: Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Power & Water, Pharmaceuticals, Food & Beverage

Experience Required: 6–10 years (India Market)

About the Role

We are looking for a high-performing Business Development Manager – Domestic Sales to drive growth and market expansion for our Industrial Control & Safety Systems (ICSS) and Automation Solutions across key industrial hubs in India, with a primary focus on Bangalore and Kochi.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Market Expansion

  • Identify, develop, and close business opportunities for ICSS, DCS, PLC, SIS, SCADA, and Industrial Automation solutions.
  • Drive market penetration and strengthen brand presence across target industries.
  • Develop new customers and expand business with existing accounts.

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Achieve assigned sales targets and order intake in line with company objectives.
  • Prepare and manage sales forecasts, opportunity pipelines, and strategic sales plans.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and support contract finalization.

Key Account Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with EPCs, consultants, system integrators, and end users.
  • Act as the primary contact for strategic accounts and ensure customer satisfaction.

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and project pipelines.
  • Provide inputs for pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.

Internal Coordination

  • Coordinate with engineering, proposal, project execution, and service teams.
  • Support marketing activities, industry events, and technical seminars.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics, or Control Engineering.
  • MBA is an added advantage.

Experience

  • 6–10 years of experience in sales or business development of industrial automation solutions.
  • Strong exposure to Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Power & Water, Pharma, or Food & Beverage industries.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Strong knowledge of ICSS, DCS, PLC, SIS, SCADA, and automation solutions.
  • Experience with Siemens, Rockwell / Allen-Bradley, Schneider, ABB, AVEVA, Wonderware, Historians, and HMIs is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel within assigned regions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹68,000.00 - ₹77,000.00 per month
