Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Upwork Bidder & Business Development Manager who can generate leads, submit high-converting proposals, optimize our Upwork profile, and close software development projects. This is a fully remote, performance-based opportunity with strong earning potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and bid on relevant software development projects on Upwork
• Write customized, high-converting proposals
• Optimize and manage our Upwork agency/freelancer profile
• Upload and manage portfolio items professionally
• Communicate with potential clients and handle follow-ups
• Schedule meetings and assist in closing deals
• Maintain CRM or tracking sheet of leads and conversions
• Build long-term client relationships

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Upwork bidder or Business Development Manager
• Experience in software development industry (Full Stack, Web Apps, SaaS, etc.)
• Strong understanding of Upwork algorithms and bidding strategies
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to understand client requirements and align technical solutions
• Experience optimizing Upwork profiles for better visibility
• Self-motivated and target-driven

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of full-stack development technologies (e.g., MERN, Laravel, WordPress, React, Node, etc.)
• Experience working with remote software agencies
• Strong negotiation and closing skills

Compensation

• 20% commission on every successfully closed project
