Business Development Officer

Job Summary

The Business Development Officer – Fiber Cement Board is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with clients, and promoting fiber cement board products to achieve sales targets. The role involves working closely with contractors, builders, architects, consultants, and distributors to expand market presence and increase revenue.

Key Responsibilities

· Identify and develop new business opportunities in construction, infrastructure, and interior markets

· Promote fiber cement board products to contractors, architects, builders, and dealers

· Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers

· Conduct market research to identify new markets, competitors, and customer needs

· Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets

· Prepare and deliver product presentations to clients and stakeholders

· Coordinate with technical and production teams to ensure customer requirements are met

· Follow up on leads and convert them into sales opportunities

· Manage distributor and dealer network development

· Provide regular sales reports and market feedback to management

· Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, and industry events

· Support pricing strategies and negotiate contracts with customers

· Ensure timely collection of payments from clients

Qualifications & Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field

· 2–5 years of experience in business development or sales (preferably building materials or construction industry)

· Experience in fiber cement board, gypsum board, cement board, or related products will be preferred

· Strong communication and negotiation skills

· Good knowledge of construction industry and market trends

· Ability to work independently and achieve targets

· Proficiency in MS Office

· Willingness to travel frequently
