Business Development Representative

As we embark on an exciting new venture centered around B2B SaaS solutions, we’re looking to assemble a dynamic start-up team — ambitious individuals eager to grow and scale this company together with us.

Role Overview

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for driving top-of-funnel lead generation and qualifying new business opportunities for B2B SaaS products. This role involves proactive outreach to potential clients, booking discovery meetings and demos, and supporting the sales cycle by ensuring a consistent and high-quality pipeline of opportunities.

The BDR will work closely with the leadership team to target fit-out, interior, technical services, project management, architecture firms, and construction prospects within the GCC region, focusing initially on U.A.E. before scaling regionally.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Outreach

  • Research and identify potential clients across Interior Fit-out, MEP, Designers, Architects, Construction and Project Management Companies.
  • Build targeted lead lists using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, LinkedIn Helper, Apollo, directories, databases, and industry networks.
  • Execute outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach campaigns daily.

Pipeline & Meetings

  • Qualify prospects based on budget, authority, need, and timeline (BANT).
  • Book client meetings, and demos for the Senior BDR or Sales Manager.
  • Maintain an organized CRM (Hubspot) with accurate lead status, notes, and follow-ups.
  • Achieve daily/weekly/monthly KPIs for outreach (calls, emails, meetings booked).

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work with marketing to align campaigns and messaging.
  • Provide feedback from prospects to refine pitch and offerings.
  • Submit weekly pipeline reports with key metrics and learnings.
  • Attend training sessions to continuously improve objection handling, product knowledge, and market intelligence.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Interiors / Construction / IT / Marketing)
  • 1–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or client-facing roles.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written) in English; Arabic is a plus.
  • Confident cold-caller with persistence and resilience.
  • Familiar with LinkedIn, CRM tools (HubSpot), Apollo, Sales Navigator, and MS Office/Teams.
  • Basic understanding of construction/fit-out/MEP/construction and project management services in UAE preferred.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet targets, and manage time effectively.
  • Effective communication skills (Ability to compile complex information into short easily understandable points to the client)

KPIs & Performance Metrics

  • Outbound Calls/Contacts per Day: 50–60 (or ~1,000 per quarter).
  • Meetings/Demos Booked: 15–20 per month.
  • Pipeline Contribution: AED 250K+ in qualified opportunities per quarter.
  • Conversion Ratios: Track from outreach → meetings booked → qualified opportunities → closed deals.

Compensation & Growth

  • Salary: AED 4,000 – 5,000 per month.
  • Performance Bonus/Commission: Based on meetings booked and opportunities converted to revenue.
  • Clear growth path into Senior BDR → Account Executive → Sales Manager roles.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
