Business Development Specialist

Rawalpindi, Pakistan

We are a fast-growing software house dedicated to delivering innovative technology solutions to clients worldwide. As part of our expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and result-driven Business Development Specialist to help us grow our international client base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and pursue high-value projects ($10k–$25k+) through platforms like LinkedIn, Upwork, Fiverr, AngelList, Apollo, and Crunchbase.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline by generating qualified leads and closing profitable deals.
  • Conduct cold calls, email outreach, and virtual meetings to engage and convert international clients.
  • Deliver engaging client presentations and proposals tailored to business needs
  • Develop, nurture, and manage long-term relationships with global clients; upsell and cross-sell services when possible.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design and customize software solutions based on client requirements.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Software Requirement Specifications (SRS), and Business Process Reports (BPR).
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to ensure win–win outcomes.
  • Manage and update CRM tools to track leads, client interactions, and progress.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of proven B2B sales or business development experience (preferably in a software house or IT services company).
  • Strong background in international sales, with a focus on the US and UK markets.
  • Must have active Fiverr or Upwork accounts with a history of managing clients/projects.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to conduct market research and craft effective sales strategies.
  • Familiarity with software technologies, SaaS solutions, and industry trends.
