Position: Business Development Associate

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Associate to join our growing team. This role will focus on expanding NUPCO's market presence, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth within Saudi Arabia's healthcare procurement sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Business Development
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in healthcare procurement and supply chain management
  • Develop and maintain relationships with pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers, and healthcare institutions
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the Saudi healthcare sector
  • Support the development of strategic partnerships and joint ventures in Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, including government hospitals, private healthcare facilities, and international suppliers
  • Prepare compelling business proposals and presentations for prospective clients
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements in alignment with company objectives
  • Ensure client satisfaction and retention through exceptional service delivery, Market Expansion
  • Support expansion initiatives into new therapeutic areas and medical specialties
  • Assist in developing go-to-market strategies for new products and services
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and regulatory affairs
  • Monitor competitor activities and market dynamics
Performance & Reporting
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and business development metrics
  • Prepare regular reports on market activities, client feedback, and business opportunities
  • Support senior management with strategic planning and decision-making processes
  • Maintain accurate records of all business development activities in CRM systems
Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Life Sciences, or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or B2B sectors
  • Experience in the Saudi Arabian market is highly preferred
Core Competencies
  • Strong understanding of the Saudi healthcare system and procurement processes
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Arabic and English
  • Proven track record in building and maintaining client relationships
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
