Main Responsibilities-
Performance Management
Implement Procurement strategies in line with Category Management objectives.
Prepare status reports regarding sourcing activities.
Ensure achievement of defined objectives and KPIs including delivery of savings targets.
Proactively responding and informing superiors about possible issues, complaints, and other cases that require resolution.
Actively develop and maintain closer collaboration with other department members in/outside of Procurement based on the assigned area of sourcing.
Plan-to-Strategy
Contribute to monitoring of market developments, innovations and technology trends.
Implement activities from category strategy.
Contribute to annual procurement planning.
Source-to-Contract
Conduct competitive tendering within buyer’s scope.
Prepare required documentation for evaluation committees.
Facilitate evaluation committees.
Conduct contract negotiations.
Create contracts according to current financial, legal, SD&HSE, and category management requirements.
Ensure contract implementation.
Contribute to continuous improvement activities.
Qualification-
Masters (MA/MSc/MBA) and/or Bachelors in the field of Economics/Supply chain/Engineering/Law. Preferred- Certification in Procurement i.e CIPS, CPSM etc.
Professional competencies-
Sound and practicing knowledge of indirect Sourcing Categories including but not limited to Professional & 3rd party outsourced services, Facilities Management, Security related Material & services, Travel & Fleet Management, IT related material, SLA’s & SaaS, HSE related materials & services etc.
Skills-
Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory environment, Experience in contract drafting and negotiations, strong team player with high ethical principles, good stakeholder management, hands on experience working in SAP Ariba & Maximo.
Experience-
3+ years’ experience in a sourcing/procurement role.
