Regional Manager Food Procurement

Cheezious is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to lead Food & Packaging Procurement at our Islamabad Regional Office. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing sourcing, vendor development, Inventory management and cost optimization across key food categories such as chicken, cheese, fries, oil, sauces, vegetables and beverages, as well as related packaging materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers for food ingredients and packaging materials.
• Ensure timely procurement while maintaining product quality and cost efficiency.
• Build strong vendor relationships and lead negotiation of contracts and pricing.
• Coordinate with QA, Operations, and R&D to ensure alignment with product specs and safety standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and consumption trends to ensure continuity of supply.
• Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for local sourcing and cost saving.
• Ensure documentation, GRNs, and PO processes are fully aligned with company procurement policies.
• Track supplier performance and implement improvement plans where necessary.
• Support new product rollouts by coordinating procurement needs and supplier capabilities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Food Science, or related field.
• 6–8 years of experience in food procurement, preferably in QSR, FMCG industries.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and food category dynamics.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Familiarity with quality standards, food safety compliance, and ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics).
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
