Assistant Manager (Procurement)

Islamabad, Pakistan

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Officer with 1-2 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will assist in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, goods, and services necessary for our operations, ensuring that all items meet quality and cost requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the procurement process, from identifying Requirements to order placement and vendor negotiation.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate prices, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Maintain inventory levels and track shipments to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to determine procurement needs and timelines.
  • Monitor market trends and new suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Maintain procurement records, including contracts, purchase orders, and vendor communications.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any Field
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant job experience in procurement Process
  • Chemical or pharmaceutical industry Experience will be an advantage
  • Familiarity with local market and Sourcing new Suppliers
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in MS Office and procurement software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs35,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Rawalpindi Gpo: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
