About the role

Procurement Specialist II - Pakistan

Procurement team here at afiniti contributes to the organization's success through effective procurement practices and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identity the requirements, optimize procurement strategies and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards. Procurement Analyst II is one of integral part of procurement team, responsible for managing procurement processes and supporting end-users with IT purchases. Liaise with various departments to understand their IT procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of required equipment and services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Gather data for tender launches, including product specifications and expected consumption.
  • Negotiate discounts with suppliers for all purchases.
  • Provide user support for IT purchases such as laptops, printers, and network equipment.
  • Coordinate with end-users to resolve IT issues promptly.
  • Develop relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Prepare and evaluate tenders in coordination with Sourcing Specialists and Manager.
  • Review and resolve daily correspondences.
  • Receive and review purchase requisitions, subject to necessary approvals.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure optimal service.
  • Keep updated on market prices and maintain supplier records.
  • Visit suppliers to evaluate product offerings and quality, making recommendations for future requirements.
  • Participate in price negotiations and contract formation.
  • Ensure compliance with company rules and regulations.


Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant global procurement experience.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Technology.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Packages.
  • Proficiency in SAP Ariba Sourcing and Oracle NetSuite P2P.
  • Proficiency in reporting (Preferably Power BI)
  • Hands on experience in managing global logistics operations
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Demonstrated experience in administrative support.
  • Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management.
  • Knowledge of contractual terms and conditions.
  • Prior procurement experience in the IT industry.
