WORK HOURS: Monday – Thursday in the office 8am-5pm (Friday Remote).

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

The Domestic Buyer plays a vital role in the organization, driving alignment between merchandise managers and the planning division to achieve sales, gross margin, and inventory optimization goals. This position focuses on ensuring that stocked products are in the right location at the right time and works collaboratively across multiple business functions—including Merchandising Managers, Product Managers, Planners, Warehouse Operations, and Sales. The Domestic Buyer’s decisions directly impact Inventory Management, making this role integral to operational success.

• 
  Manages purchase orders, ensuring seamless merchandise flow from vendors to distribution centers

• Coordinates with internal and external partners to support product strategies, identify business opportunities, and align with the organization's vision.

• Prepares comprehensive data analysis and interpretation to develop actionable solutions and strategic initiatives.

• Collaborates with internal and external partners to support product strategies, identify business opportunities, and align with the organization's vision.

• Tracks and report on core product availability issues and inventory positions, addressing challenges proactively.

• Organizes and prioritizes workloads independently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Ensures timely shipments and adherence to vendor compliance requirements.

• Handles all shipping and invoicing documentation accurately and efficiently.

QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of Familiarity with vendor-specific requirements and order processing standards.

• Proficient in analytical and quantitative abilities to leverage data and metrics for decision-making and process improvement.

• Results-driven mindset with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information clearly.

• Self-motivation and autonomy in managing project expectations and optimizing processes.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field preferred.

• 3 years of experience in Supply Chain, specifically with purchase order fulfillment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and SAP.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and email management abilities.
