We are looking for a Cargo Sales Executive to drives revenue by finding new clients (forwarders, logistics companies, shippers), building relationships, negotiating rates, and promoting logistics/freight services, acting as a link between clients and operations to ensure smooth, profitable cargo movement while meeting targets, requiring strong negotiation, market knowledge, and coordination skills. Key tasks include market analysis, strategy development, sales reporting, handling client queries, and coordinating with internal teams for efficient service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and secure new clients, expanding market presence in air/sea freight.
  • Maintain strong ties with existing customers and partners (airlines, forwarders).
  • Present services, prepare quotes, negotiate rates (freight/trucking), and close deals.
  • Develop sales plans, analyse market trends, and provide regular sales reports to management.
  • Work with operations, customer service, and other teams to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and competitor activities.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in the same field with 3-5 years’ experience.
  • Proven sales background, preferably in air cargo, logistics, or freight forwarding.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in cargo booking systems, MS Office, and strong English communication.
  • Proactive, results-driven, organized, able to work under pressure, and a strong team player.
  • A degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field is often preferred.
