Responsibilities

  • Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process transactions quickly and efficiently.
  • Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide product information to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with precision while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
  • Assist with merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the store remains inviting and well-maintained.
  • Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities to maximize sales.
  • Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting remote customers.
  • Support inventory management by participating in stock replenishment and ensuring products are correctly labeled and displayed.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and assist customers in a bilingual environment if needed.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
  • Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math to ensure accurate transactions.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person and over the phone.
  • Supervising experience is a plus for candidates interested in growth opportunities within the team.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves, moving merchandise, and standing for extended periods.
  • Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively.
