Category Manager

Interwood is a large furniture manufacturing company. We are strengthening our procurement team and are looking for aCategory Managers who can take responsibility for key material categories and work closely with suppliers and production teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing end-to-end assigned material categories (cost, suppliers, availability)
• Developing annual strategy plans and execution
• Handling RFQs and negotiating with suppliers
• Ensuring materials are available for production on time
• Working with Production and Planning teams
• Monitoring supplier delivery and quality issues
• Helping reduce emergency and last-minute purchases

• B.Sc. Engineering (Preferably Material or Chemical Engineer)
• 2–5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain
• Manufacturing experience preferred (furniture, FMCG, engineering, construction)
• Comfortable dealing with suppliers and internal teams
• Practical, problem-solving mindset
• Willing to take responsibility and learn
