Chief Accountant

Job Title: Chief Accountant.

Experience Required: 4 to 6 years.

Location: Al Ain.

Eligibility:

· Previous experience in trading companies, contracting companies, and retail sector is mandatory and This position is available for Arab nationalities and for candidates currently residing inside the UAE only.

Job Summary:

· The Chief Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the group’s accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial records and reports, monitoring compliance with internal financial policies and procedures, and supporting management in financial and operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

· Supervise all daily accounting operations and ensure the accuracy of financial entries and transactions.

· Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and submit them to direct management.

· Monitor customer and supplier accounts, bank reconciliations, and ensure accuracy of balances.

· Supervise monthly and yearly closing activities, budgets, and financial reporting processes.

· Monitor cash flow, expenses, revenues, and analyze the financial performance of the group companies.

· Ensure compliance with approved financial, tax, and accounting policies and procedures.

· Monitor project and contract accounts related to the contracting sector and ensure accuracy of costs and revenues.

· Supervise financial operations related to the retail sector, including sales and inventory monitoring.

· Monitor the accounting team’s performance, distribute tasks, and supervise daily workflow.

· Supervise the accounting team’s use of the Odoo ERP system.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in accounting.

· 4 to 6 years of practical experience as a Chief Accountant.

· Previous experience in trading companies, contracting companies, and the retail sector is considered mandatory.

· Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and budgeting.

· Hands-on experience in using Odoo ERP system is mandatory.

· Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and supervise teams.

· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

· Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
