Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced
Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)
to lead and evolve our HR function with a unique blend of strategic leadership and hands-on execution. This individual will drive the company’s talent strategy while managing day-to-day HR operations. The ideal candidate brings a

— someone who can design scalable systems and processes, while staying close to execution to ensure excellence and impact.
Core Responsibilities
HR Team Leadership

Build and lead a high-impact HR team—define structure, clarify roles, and foster professional growth.

Provide coaching and support to ensure operational excellence and team development.
Strategic HR Partnership

Collaborate with executive leadership to align HR strategy with company goals.

Develop and execute a multi-year HR roadmap that supports business growth and transformation.
Talent Management & Development
-
Design and implement scalable systems for job architecture, career progression, succession planning, performance management, and learning & development.
Recruiting & Hiring
-
Oversee recruitment strategy in partnership with hiring managers and regional teams.

Improve job profiling, candidate pipelines, and onboarding processes to ensure seamless talent acquisition.
Compensation & Workforce Planning

Support Compensation Committee with data-driven insights on role structures, performance metrics, and workforce needs.

Contribute to salary benchmarking, pay equity, and incentive planning.
Culture & Engagement
-
Champion a strong company culture through employee engagement initiatives.

Use surveys and eNPS data to assess engagement and guide meaningful improvements.
HR Systems & Analytics

Ensure data accuracy and consistency across HR systems (e.g., Paylocity, BOX).

Build HR dashboards and KPIs to measure performance, trends, and key metrics.
Reporting & Insights

Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly HR reports on metrics, initiative progress, and risk areas.
HR Operations & Compliance

Manage HR programs including benefits, compensation, leave administration, compliance, investigations, and employee relations.

Act as the escalation point for complex employee relations and performance concerns.

Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations and update policies and training as needed.
Vendor & Partner Management

Oversee external HR vendors and partners—ensuring accountability, service quality, and cost efficiency.
Continuous Improvement

Stay abreast of HR best practices, legal updates, and emerging technologies.

Lead or contribute to cross-functional initiatives that drive strategic impact.

Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.

SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification.
-
15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
-
Strong command of Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms.

Advanced data analysis and reporting capabilities.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

High emotional intelligence and ability to influence and collaborate.

Proven experience leading teams and balancing multiple priorities.

In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR compliance.

Strategic, hands-on leader with a strong work ethic and professional maturity.
Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline.

Experience with Paylocity HCM platform.
-
Background in private equity-backed or professional services environments.
-
Experience leading HR in multi-location organizations (500+ employees).
-
Mergers & acquisitions and post-merger integration experience.
