Civil Engineer

Job Purpose

The Civil Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, supervising, and managing civil engineering projects to ensure successful completion within time, budget, and quality standards, while complying with safety and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and oversee construction and maintenance of structures, roads, bridges, utilities, and infrastructure.
• Prepare technical drawings, BOQs, cost estimates, and project schedules.
• Conduct site inspections, surveys, and feasibility studies.
• Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
• consultants, and other engineering disciplines for smooth execution.
• Review and approve materials, methods, and workmanship.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• Professional

certifications/registrations (e.g.,
UAE Society of Engineers membership, PMP, or equivalent) preferred.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in civil engineering projects [e.g., construction, infrastructure, MEP, real estate, oil & gas, etc.].
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, design software (AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD.

Primavera/MS Project).

• Familiarity with international codes and standards (BS, ASTM, ACI,AASHTO, etc.).
• Coordinate with architects,
• Identify project risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Support quality assurance, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
