Civil Foreman

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Civil Foreman to supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on-site. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, the ability to manage manpower efficiently, and ensure that all work is completed safely, on time, and according to project specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily civil construction activities.
• Manage and monitor skilled and unskilled workers on site.
• Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Allocate manpower, equipment, and materials efficiently.
• Monitor work progress and report daily activities to the Site Engineer/Project Manager.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company HSE policies.
• Inspect work quality and ensure compliance with project standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other site teams.
• Resolve site issues and provide practical solutions.
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure workers follow safe work practices.
• Monitor material usage and minimize wastage.
• Verify site measurements before execution.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and maintain a clean work environment.
• Assist in planning work activities to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain daily site records, attendance, and progress reports.
• Ensure all work complies with local authority regulations and company procedures.

Requirements

• Diploma or ITI in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Civil Foreman in construction projects.
• Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods and site supervision.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Good knowledge of concrete, masonry, plastering, block work, finishing, excavation, and structural works.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and construction standards.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• UAE/GCC experience is an advantage.
