Civil Inspector

· Supervise and inspect contractor construction works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

· Identify non-conformances, issue site instructions or NCRs, and verify corrective actions.

· Coordinate with contractors, to resolve site issues.

· Ensure all works adhere to local authority regulations, building codes, and safety standards.

· Review and verify construction documents, checklists, and material submittals for compliance.

· Monitor site safety practices and report any unsafe conditions.

· Verify all quality control procedures and checklists are properly implemented on site.

· Provide daily updates to the Resident Engineer (RE), thoroughly documenting site activities, progress, and issues as required.

· Witness and verify construction activities and tests - such as concrete pouring, rebar fixing, excavation, and material testing - to meet project specifications.

· Conduct thorough inspections of contractor-supplied materials upon delivery to the site, verifying their conformity with approved submittals, specifications, and quality standards before allowing their use in execution.
