About the Role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to join our Machine Shop team. This position is focused on setting up and operating CNC lathes to produce high-precision metal components used in our industrial equipment.

This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, machining knowledge, and pride in quality work are essential.

What You’ll Do

  • Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce precision metal parts
  • Review blueprints and plan machining operations
  • Calculate feeds, speeds, and cutting paths
  • Hold tight tolerances (± .002”)
  • Monitor machine performance and identify issues through sound and vibration
  • Perform deburring, grinding, and part finishing
  • Use gauges and inspection tools to verify part accuracy
  • Maintain production schedules and meet deadlines
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment

What We’re Looking For

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 3–5 years of machining experience preferred
  • Vocational or technical training in machining preferred
  • Strong experience operating CNC lathes
  • Ability to read and interpret prints
  • Understanding of feeds, speeds, and machining processes
  • Experience holding tight tolerances
  • Familiarity with inspection tools and gauges
  • Ability to read tape measure to 1/16”

Work Environment

Industrial machine shop with exposure to noise, vibration, moving equipment, cutting fluids, and metalworking processes.

PPE required (safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.).

Pay: $23.32 - $30.86 per hour
