Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines (CNC routers, drilling, and cutting machines) for wood-based materials such as MDF, plywood, chipboard, and solid wood.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, CAD/CAM programs, work orders, and production specifications.
- Load materials, align fixtures, and ensure accurate cutting, drilling, grooving, and shaping operations.
- Adjust machine parameters such as speed, depth, tooling, and feed rates to meet quality and production standards.
- Inspect finished components for accuracy, surface quality, and dimensional compliance.
- Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- Ensure proper labeling, stacking, and transfer of finished parts to the next production stage.
- Follow all safety regulations, quality control procedures, and housekeeping standards.
- Report machine issues, tool wear, material defects, or production delays to the Production Supervisor.
- Coordinate with design, cutting, edge banding, and assembly teams to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a CNC Operator in a wood or furniture manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with CNC routers and woodworking CNC machinery.
- Basic knowledge of CAD/CAM software and CNC programming is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of woodworking materials, tools, and production processes.
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow precise instructions.
- High attention to detail, quality, and productivity.
- Physically fit to handle materials and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable team player with a proactive and safety-conscious mindset.
