We are looking for a data-driven and highly strategic Cold Email Marketing Strategist to design, execute, and optimize outbound email campaigns targeting B2B wholesalers, manufacturers, and retailers.
This role requires a blend of strategy, copywriting, automation, deliverability expertise, and performance optimization. You will own the entire cold email funnel—from prospecting and segmentation to campaign execution and conversion tracking.
Key Responsibilities
1. Campaign Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute cold email outreach strategies aligned with business goals (lead generation, partnerships, onboarding sellers/buyers)
- Design multi-step email sequences (intro → value → follow-up → conversion)
- Create ICP-based targeting strategies (manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers)
2. Prospecting & List Building
- Identify and build high-quality prospect lists using tools like: Apollo, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Segment audiences based on: Industry
- Geography (US, UK, global markets)
- Business size and role (decision-makers)
3. Copywriting & Messaging
- Write high-converting, personalized email copy with:
- Strong hooks and value propositions
- Clear CTAs (book demo, join marketplace, etc.)
- Continuously A/B test subject lines, body copy, and offers
4. Email Deliverability & Infrastructure
- Set up and manage email infrastructure: Domain warm-up & SPF, DKIM, DMARC configurations
- Maintain high deliverability rates and avoid spam filters
- Monitor sender reputation and inbox placement
5. Automation & Tools Management
- Manage outbound tools such as: Instantly, Smartlead, Lemlist, Mailshake
- Build automated workflows and sequences
- Integrate with CRM (HubSpot, Zoho, etc.)
6. Performance Tracking & Optimization
- Track KPIs such as: Open rate, Reply rate, Positive reply rate & Conversion rate (meetings/demo bookings)
- Optimize campaigns based on data insights
- Generate weekly and monthly performance reports
7. Collaboration
Work closely with:
- Sales team (handoff qualified leads)
- Marketing team (messaging alignment)
- Product team (value proposition refinement)
Key Requirements
Experience
- 3–5+ years of experience in:
- Cold email marketing / outbound lead generation
- B2B SaaS, marketplaces, or wholesale industry (preferred)
Skills
- Strong expertise in:
- Cold email frameworks (PAS, AIDA, problem-solution)
- Email deliverability best practices
- List segmentation and ICP development
- Hands-on experience with outreach tools (Instantly, Lemlist, etc.)
- Proficiency in CRM tools and data handling
- Analytical mindset with strong reporting skills
Technical Knowledge
- Understanding of:
- Email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
- Domain rotation and inbox management
- API integrations
