Collections Supervisor

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB:

Responsible to manage & oversee daily collection activities, develops and implements effective collection strategies, and ensures compliance with laws and regulations to recover outstanding debts from customers assigned to his domain/region.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. implement strategies and policies to improve debt recovery rates and collection efficiency.
2. Monitor daily collection activities and follow on collections.
3. Ensure all collection efforts comply with state and federal laws, company policies, and other regulations
4. Handle escalated or complex accounts and disputes, including investigating and resolving difficult problems.
5. Prepare and present regular reports to management on collection activities, performance, and trends.
6. Work with sales departments to resolve customer issues and optimize collection processes.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills for interacting with customers and team members.
8. Understand basic accounting, aging reports & reconciliation to manage collection target achievement.
9. In-depth understanding of collection laws, regulations, and best practices.
10. Assist legal team to resolve complex overdue accounts.

MANDATORY (Minimum Qualification)

1. Bachelor’s Degree.
2. 3-5 Years of Experience.
3. FMCG Commercial preferred.
4. Local laws & regulations related to collections
