Commercial Executive / Officer Sales

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Commercial Sales Executive/ Officer to support and manage day-to-day commercial and sales coordination activities in our fast-paced flightcase manufacturing business. The ideal candidate will handle customer inquiries, quotations, order processing, client coordination, pricing support, documentation, and commercial follow-ups.

This role requires strong communication skills, multitasking ability, and experience in coordinating sales activities within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

1.Sales Development & Target Achievement

  • Actively participate in direct sales activities including lead generation, customer visits, and business pitching.
  • Identify and approach potential clients in industries such as events, aviation, defense, entertainment, and industrial packaging.
  • Convert inquiries into confirmed orders through strong follow-up, negotiation, and relationship-building.
  • Support management in achieving monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Promote company products and customized flightcase solutions to expand market reach.
  • Attend exhibitions, networking events, and client meetings to represent the company and generate new business opportunities.

2. Sales & Customer Coordination

  • Handle incoming customer inquiries, requirements, and sales requests promptly.
  • Act as a key point of contact between customers and internal departments.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and support new customer development.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through timely communication and follow-ups.

3. Quotation Preparation & Pricing Support

  • Prepare accurate quotations based on technical inputs, drawings, and customer specifications.
  • Coordinate costing details with Operation team.
  • Support pricing strategy by ensuring competitive yet profitable offers.
  • Maintain quotation records and track conversion status.

4. Order Processing & Commercial Documentation

  • Manage sales orders from confirmation to execution stage.
  • Ensure proper documentation including purchase orders, invoices, delivery notes, and contracts.
  • Coordinate with accounts for billing requirements and customer payment terms.
  • Maintain organized commercial files and customer transaction history.

5. Coordination with Production & Operations

  • Work closely with production and planning teams to ensure order feasibility and delivery timelines.
  • Communicate customer requirements clearly to internal teams for smooth execution.
  • Monitor project progress and update customers on order status.
  • Support resolution of any production or delivery-related issues.

6. Client Follow-Up & Payment Coordination

  • Coordinate with accounts team to ensure timely invoicing and payment collection.
  • Follow up with customers for outstanding payments and pending approvals.

7. Sales Support & Business Development Assistance

  • Support the sales team in identifying new leads, industries, and potential clients.
  • Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and tender documents for major projects.
  • Participate in exhibitions, client meetings, and business promotion activities when required.

8. Reporting & Commercial Tracking

  • Maintain sales pipeline records, quotation status reports, and customer communication logs.
  • Prepare periodic sales and commercial activity reports for management review.
  • Track order value, delivery schedules, and customer feedback for continuous improvement.

9. Process Improvement & Team Collaboration

  • Follow established commercial processes and contribute ideas to improve workflow efficiency.
  • Ensure smooth coordination across sales, production, operations, and finance teams.
  • Support team objectives in a high-pressure, fast-moving manufacturing environment.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication, coordination, and customer-handling skills.
  • Experience in sales support and commercial activities within manufacturing or industrial sectors.
  • Good understanding of quotations, pricing, contracts, and order management.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple customer orders simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and ERP/CRM systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving ability.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working under tight deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–6 years of experience in a commercial sales or sales coordination role.
  • Experience in flightcase manufacturing, custom fabrication, packaging, or project-based production industries is highly preferred.
  • Exposure to international markets (UAE, KSA, UK, US) is an added advantage.
  • UAE Driving License
