Commercial Quantity Surveyor

About the Role

As a key member of the Commercial & Legal Department, the Commercial Quantity Surveyor (QS) plays a critical role in the financial management and contractual compliance of PFQ Projects. The role ensures smooth operations, accurate record-keeping, and timely processing of all commercial documentation, safeguarding project timelines and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage contract records and databases for the Commercial & Legal Department.
• Prepare Subcontract Agreements and Purchase Order Agreements accurately and in a timely manner.
• Prepare Interim Payment Applications to clients for ongoing projects.
• Prepare various payment applications and final account statements for subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assist in the preparation of project closeout documentation from the commercial perspective.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience: 2–3 years as a Commercial QS at a managerial or supervisory level.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and commercial procedures.
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant QS software.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 7 months

Pay: QAR6,000.00 - QAR7,000.00 per month
