Compensation Benefits Manager

Al Qulay`ah, Kuwait

Job Objective:

The Compensation & Benefits Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the hospital’s compensation and benefits programs to ensure they are competitive, compliant with applicable laws, and aligned with the hospital’s overall HR strategy. The role ensures that compensation and benefits practices support the recruitment, retention, and motivation of top talent while maintaining financial sustainability.



  1. Compensation Strategy and Management:
  • Develop, review, and implement compensation structures and salary ranges to ensure internal equity - and external competitiveness.
  • Conduct periodic benchmarking and market analysis of compensation and benefits to maintain the hospital’s competitiveness.
  • Manage job evaluation and grading processes.
  1. Benefits Administration:
  • Design, implement, and administer employee benefits programs (retirement plans, Comp. & Ben policies, etc.).
  • Evaluate and recommend changes to benefits programs to ensure cost-effectiveness and competitiveness.
  • Oversee communication of benefits to employees, ensuring understanding and accessibility.
  1. Incentive Programs:
  • Collaborate with Finance to design and manage incentives and bonus plans, including productivity-based incentives for medical, Para-medical, & non-medical staff.
  • Monitor incentive payouts and ensure timely and accurate payments in coordination with payroll and finance.
  1. Compliance and Reporting:
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory reports and audits as required.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws, and healthcare-specific HR practices.
  1. Budgeting and Cost Control:
  • Develop and manage the compensation and benefits budget.
  • Monitor expenditures and implement cost-saving measures where appropriate without compromising quality and competitiveness.
  1. Stakeholder Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for compensation and benefits inquiries from employees and managers.
  • Deliver training and offer guidance to HR staff and line managers on compensation and benefits policies and practices.


Education/Qualifications/Training:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (master’s degree or HR certifications such as CCBM, SPHRi or SHRM preferred).


Required Experience:

Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits, Or HR Management preferably within a healthcare sector.
