Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all architectural aspects of construction projects from initiation to completion.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, engineers, and contractors to ensure design intent is executed effectively.
- Develop, review, and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Oversee site activities, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, building codes, and safety standards.
- Manage design changes, RFIs, and technical submittals during project execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure high standards of workmanship.
- Ensure proper coordination between architectural, structural, MEP, and fit-out works.
- Prepare and present project progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Lead project handover procedures, including snagging, testing, and commissioning.
- Mentor and guide site engineers, supervisors, and junior staff.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, with at least 8 years in a managerial role handling large-scale architectural/construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of architectural design, construction methods, and finishing works.
- Proficiency in project management tools (Primavera P6 / MS Project).
- Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and international building standards.
- Certifications such as PMP, RICS, or LEED are preferred.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver projects within time, cost, and quality targets.
