Construction Manager -Architectural

Doha, Qatar

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all architectural aspects of construction projects from initiation to completion.
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, engineers, and contractors to ensure design intent is executed effectively.
  • Develop, review, and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources.
  • Oversee site activities, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, building codes, and safety standards.
  • Manage design changes, RFIs, and technical submittals during project execution.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure high standards of workmanship.
  • Ensure proper coordination between architectural, structural, MEP, and fit-out works.
  • Prepare and present project progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Lead project handover procedures, including snagging, testing, and commissioning.
  • Mentor and guide site engineers, supervisors, and junior staff.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, with at least 8 years in a managerial role handling large-scale architectural/construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of architectural design, construction methods, and finishing works.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (Primavera P6 / MS Project).
  • Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and international building standards.
  • Certifications such as PMP, RICS, or LEED are preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver projects within time, cost, and quality targets.
