Content Creator

Moxie Creative Studios is seeking talented freelance content creators to support a variety of client projects and events throughout the year.

This role focuses on capturing engaging photo and short-form video content that can be used across social media, marketing campaigns, and brand storytelling.

Our creators work on a project basis, supporting events, brand shoots, and marketing activations that require fast, high-quality visual content.

This is a 1099 contractor opportunity ideal for creators who already operate as independent professionals and want consistent project opportunities.

What You’ll Do

Content creators may be hired for a variety of projects including:

• Event coverage (photo and short-form video)
• Social media content capture for brands
• Behind-the-scenes and documentary-style content
• Short-form vertical video for Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
• Promotional and highlight reels
• On-site content capture during marketing activations

Assignments may range from 1–6 hour event coverage to dedicated content production sessions for brands.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality photo and video content on-site
• Shoot vertical-first content optimized for social media platforms
• Identify and capture engaging moments quickly in fast-paced environments
• Deliver organized photo and video files after each shoot
• Edit short-form content when requested
• Work professionally with clients, guests, and event teams
• Meet agreed-upon delivery timelines

Requirements

• Must provide your own professional photo and/or video equipment
• Experience shooting events, brand content, or social media content
• Strong understanding of short-form social media content trends
• Ability to shoot both photo and video preferred
• Experience editing for Instagram Reels, TikTok, or YouTube Shorts is a plus
• Reliable, organized, and professional when representing clients
• Ability to adapt quickly and capture content in dynamic environments

Equipment Expectations

Contractors must supply their own equipment, which may include:

• Current smartphone with high-resolution photo/video. iPhone preferred.
• Lenses, lighting, and microphones suitable for event and brand content
• Stabilization equipment
• Editing software

Compensation

This is a project-based freelance role.

Rates are determined based on project complexity, duration, and deliverables.

Pay: $20.00 - $75.00 per hour
