CONTENT STRATEGIST

Location: Brooklyn, NY (onsite 3x per week)
Job Type: starts on 6-month W2 hourly contract (potential to extend/convert)
Compensation Range: $40-50/hr

On behalf of our financial services client, we're looking for an experienced Content Strategist who is a combination of creative thinker, creator and implementer. In this role, you will write/edit engaging content for an internal transformation microsite for the 9K+ payments organization.

Responsibilities:

• Create engaging content for employees who are part of a major organizational rethinking effort. Formats include articles, videos, spotlight features, learning journeys and training modules.
• Build innovative internal marketing content that inspires and drives engagement with clear value propositions and calls-to-action.
• Plan and implement site content strategy that makes learning journey program content come to life.
• Use data to identify areas of marketing opportunity to ensure communications are appropriate for each target audience.
• Cultivate strong partnerships with communications, learning and other subject-matter experts for alignment and guidance.
• Keep abreast of internal marketing trends and best practices.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics to assess the impact of content.
• Identify and ensure cohesion with firmwide branding and accessibility standards.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of Content Strategy work experience preferred.
• Background in content management systems (AEM).
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Experience driving end-user experience, crafting learning journeys with innovative engagement strategies.
• Solid team player with the ability to interact, influence, and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and build strong, positive working relationships.
• Strategic and creative thinker with the ability to deliver practical, innovative solutions.
• Confident communicator with the ability to present concepts in a clear, concise and engaging way.
• Comfortable in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.
