CONTENT WRITER

Compensation Range: $45 - 50 per hour

Are you a researcher at heart with a gift for storytelling? Our creative team is expanding following a major acquisition, and we are looking for a versatile Content Writer to join the team.

In this role, you won't just be filling a seat; you'll be joining a collaborative, established team dedicated to translating complex industry topics into engaging narratives across every digital channel within the insurance industry.

Responsibilities:
We are looking for a "detective-style" writer-someone who loves to track down information and interview subject matter experts to find the "hook" in every story. You will be responsible for:

• Diverse Content Creation: Crafting everything from long-form articles and blogs to punchy social media posts and internal program updates.
• Expert Interviewing: Conducting deep-dive interviews with stakeholders to extract key insights.
• Creative Collaboration: Working alongside our design team and fellow writers to ensure messaging is cohesive and visually supported.
• Strategic Research: Persistently researching technical topics to ensure our content is both accurate and authoritative.

Qualifications:

• Journalism Roots: A background in journalism is strongly preferred; we value your ability to ask the right questions and meet deadlines.
• Experience: 3-5 years of professional content creation experience (Mid-level).
• Versatility: A portfolio that proves you can pivot your tone and format for different audiences and channels.
• Tech Savvy: Professional remote-work capabilities and a high standard for virtual presentation.

Bonus Points

• Experience within the Wholesale or Insurance industries (highly desirable).
