Contract Administrator

At Arabian Construction Company (ACC), we pride ourselves on delivering iconic projects that redefine skylines and communities. We are seeking two Contract Administrators to join our dynamic team — one position based at our Head Office in New Cairo and the other at our North Coast project site — to play a pivotal role in managing and administering contractual agreements across our large-scale projects.


What You’ll Achieve

Contract Preparation and Administration

  • Draft, review, and finalize contracts, ensuring compliance with project objectives, company policies, and legal frameworks.
  • Collaborate with project teams to prepare and evaluate contractual documents, including subcontracts, purchase agreements, and amendments.
  • Monitor contract milestones, deliverables, and timelines to ensure adherence to agreed terms.

Claims and Variations Management

  • Evaluate and process claims, variations, and extensions of time from contractors and vendors, ensuring proper documentation and justification.
  • Prepare and negotiate claims to be submitted to the client, supported by detailed reports and analysis.
  • Identify potential risks and recommend strategies to mitigate claims and disputes.

Contractual Risk Mitigation

  • Assess contract terms and conditions, highlighting potential risks and advising on preventive measures.
  • Provide guidance to project teams on contractual rights, obligations, and risk management strategies.
  • Ensure proper implementation of FIDIC and other relevant contractual frameworks in all project agreements.

Project Coordination and Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all contract-related matters with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with project managers, procurement teams, and legal advisors to address contractual issues.
  • Communicate contract updates, changes, and critical milestones to project teams.

Documentation and Compliance

  • Maintain detailed records of all contract-related correspondence, amendments, and approvals.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Conduct periodic audits of contracts and related processes to identify improvement opportunities.


What You’ll Bring to ACC

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil or architectural engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in contract administration for large-scale construction projects.
  • Proven experience with FIDIC contracts, claims management, and contract variations.
  • MRICS or CIARB qualification is a plus.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in contract management tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management software.
