Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Contracts Administrator with proven experience in the UAE contracting industry. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of UAE laws, construction contracts, and legal procedures, along with an educational background in Law, Business Administration, or related fields. The role requires excellent attention to detail, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to manage and administer all aspects of contracts to ensure compliance and protect the company’s interests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and manage contracts, subcontracts, and agreements in compliance with UAE laws and company policies.
  • Provide contractual and legal support to management, project teams, and procurement.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and identify risks or potential disputes.
  • Maintain accurate records of all contracts and correspondence with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Liaise with external legal counsel when required for dispute resolution, claims, or arbitration.
  • Assist in preparing claims, variations, and change orders, ensuring proper documentation and legal backing.
  • Support tendering and bidding processes by reviewing contract terms and conditions.
  • Advise project teams on contractual rights, obligations, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure timely renewal, extension, or termination of contracts as per company requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or related discipline (Legal background preferred).
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience as a Contracts Administrator in a contracting/construction company in the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE Civil Code, FIDIC contracts, and construction law.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and drafting skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and contract management software.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an added advantage.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in dispute resolution, arbitration, or claims management.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
