Coordinator, IT Procurement - Central Campus
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Serves as point of contact between the client users, the Purchasing department, and the ITS department for purchase requests for any IT-related products or services.
Essential Job Functions:

Assist clients with IT procurement requests.

Validate client requests for IT products and services against IT standards and escalate exceptions for review and approval.

Utilize existing inventory to fulfill procurement requests.

Research alternative solutions to IT procurement requests when necessary.

Verify purchase requirements for IT products and services with the Purchasing department.

Assist with the development and implementation of IT procurement procedures and practices.

Maintain purchase request records; ensuring they remain accurate and current.

Assist Budget Analyst to keep track of budgets and process requisitions.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Must possess excellent customer service skills.

Knowledge of purchasing processes and systems is required.

Knowledge of typical IT service delivery including software delivery, enterprise applications, infrastructure services and help desk services preferred.

Must be highly organized and possess excellent verbal communication and documentation skills.

Strong listening skills required.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
Required Education:
-
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or an Associate degree with a total of four (4) years of related work experience.
Preferred Education:
-
Bachelors Degree or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or Finance from an accredited institution preferred.
Required Experience:
-
Minimum two (2) years of IT procurement work experience required.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working in Higher Education preferred.

Experience with Ellucian’s Banner Finance modules preferred.

Experience using IT service ticketing solutions to fulfill, monitor, and respond to requests preferred.

ITIL Foundations

NIGP-CPP
Salary Grade: 109
