Cost Control Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, monitor, and maintain the project’s cost control systems, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Track project expenditures and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
  • Prepare cost reports, variance analyses, and financial summaries for management.
  • Review and validate invoices, payment certificates, and cost-related documents.
  • Coordinate with procurement, finance, engineering, and project teams to ensure accuracy of cost data.
  • Identify cost risks, recommend corrective actions, and support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and financial standards.
  • Support project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation activities.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost control reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • Proven experience in cost control, budgeting, or project finance—preferably in construction, engineering, or similar industries.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Proficient in cost control software, ERP systems, and MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in large-scale projects.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Certification in cost control or project management is an advantage.
