Customer Service Specialist

Lahore, Pakistan

We're looking for a Customer Service Specialist who has strong communication skills and a background in healthcare or customer service. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients, answering billing inquiries, resolving concerns with empathy, and helping ensure a smooth experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer inbound calls and respond to emails from patients about billing
  • Handle questions with empathy, clarity, and professionalism
  • Explain patient statements, balances, and insurance coverage
  • Set up payment plans or escalate issues to billing team as needed
  • Update patient records and document interactions in Athena or other PM systems
  • Maintain a friendly, respectful tone, even with frustrated callers
  • Collaborate with billing/account managers to resolve patient issues efficiently

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a patient-facing or customer service role (medical billing preferred)
  • Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written)
  • Excellent listening, empathy, and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with AthenaHealth or similar billing/PM software is a big plus
  • Comfortable working U.S. time zone hours (Night Shift Only)
  • Remote work is NOT available; this is an in-office role.

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
