Customs Clearance Officer in Logistics Company

The Customs Clearance Officer is responsible for preparing and processing import and export documents, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and coordinating with customs authorities to facilitate smooth cargo clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit customs documentation for import and export shipments
• Coordinate with customs officers, freight forwarders, and clients
• Ensure compliance with customs laws and trade regulations
• Track shipment clearance status and resolve clearance issues
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to customs clearance

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
• Experience in customs clearance or import/export documentation is preferred
• Knowledge of customs regulations, duties, and trade compliance
• Familiarity with shipping and customs documentation
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines
• Basic computer skills and logistics systems knowledge
