Dental Insurance Coordinator

Job Overview
We are seeking a positive, fun, drama free, hard working, detail/patient-oriented and organized Insurance Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing insurance processes, ensuring accurate documentation, and facilitating communication between patients and insurance providers. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, coding, and insurance verification procedures.

Duties

  • Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits prior to appointments.
  • Checking patients out and going over treatment estimates
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Process and submit claims
  • Assist patients with understanding their insurance benefits and any related inquiries.
  • Collaborate with medical office staff to streamline operations and improve patient care.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a dental office setting is required.
  • Familiarity with dental records management, insurance verification, and dental coding is essential.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, and dental terminology is required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance representatives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
