Responsibilities:
- Assist in sourcing, negotiating, and placing commercial insurance policies (CGL, Workers Compensation, Transportation, Marine, Property).
Coordinate with brokers and underwriters to obtain competitive terms and premiums.
- Review insurance proposals and recommend suitable coverage based on business risks.
- Maintain accurate records of policies, certificates, endorsements, and renewals.
- Track policy limits, deductibles, and expiry dates to ensure continuous coverage.
- Support premium budgeting, payment processing, and documentation.
- Assist in claims handling and coordinate between internal teams, insurers, and brokers.
- Monitor claim trends and help implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with insurance regulations across the US, Canada, and UK.
- Support audits, reporting, and cross-functional coordination with finance, operations, and legal teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Experience in insurance, brokerage, logistics, or risk management is preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of insurance practices related to US/UK/Canada markets is an advantage.
