Key Responsibilities

A Dispatch and Logistics Officer typically:

• Plan and coordinate deliveries
• Schedule shipments and assign drivers or transport resources
• Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods
• Monitor transportation operations
• Track vehicles, shipments, and delivery status
• Resolve delays or route issues in real time
• Manage inventory and documentation
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and delivery notes
• Ensure proper handling of goods and stock levels
• Communicate with stakeholders
• Coordinate with warehouse staff, drivers, suppliers, and customers
• Provide updates on delivery status and resolve complaints
• Ensure compliance and safety
• Follow company policies and local transport regulations
• Ensure proper loading, handling, and documentation of goods
• Optimize logistics processes
• Improve routing, reduce costs, and increase efficiency
• Analyze delivery performance and suggest improvements

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
• Experience in transportation, warehousing, or logistics operations (often 1–3 years)
• Familiarity with local transportation regulations (especially important in regions like the UAE)

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
