Dispatch Officer

Position: Dispatch Officer
Location: Sahiwal Branch

Job Summary

The Dispatch Officer is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the dispatch of goods, or field resources to ensure timely and accurate delivery. The role requires frequent travel to nearby areas, maintaining dispatch records, and coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily dispatch operations.
  • Ensure timely delivery and collection of documents, materials, or products.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch records, delivery logs, and related documentation.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, operations, and field teams regarding dispatch schedules.
  • Track deliveries and resolve any dispatch-related issues or delays.
  • Verify the quantity and condition of items before dispatch.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures during transportation.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly dispatch reports.
  • Maintain effective communication with branch staff and management.

Travel Requirements

The role requires regular travel within the local region, including visits to:

  • Okara
  • Pakpattan
  • Chichawatni
  • Arifwala

Travel may be conducted using a company vehicle, public transport, or a personal motorcycle, depending on operational requirements.

Requirements

  • Intermediate, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in dispatch, logistics, or operations.
  • Valid motorcycle driving license preferred.
  • Good knowledge of local routes and surrounding areas.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email communication.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
