Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Document Controller to manage, maintain, and control company documents and records. The ideal candidate will ensure that all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible while adhering to company standards and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, organize, and control all project and company documents (both electronic and hard copy).
- Ensure proper filing, indexing, and retrieval of documents as needed.
- Track document revisions, updates, and approvals to ensure version control.
- Coordinate with project teams, managers, and other departments to manage document flow.
- Review incoming and outgoing documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.
- Prepare and distribute documentation reports as required.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive company information.
- Assist in audits and ensure compliance with document management procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Document Controller or in a similar administrative/document management role.
- Strong knowledge of document management systems (DMS) and MS Office applications.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in [industry-specific field, e.g., construction, engineering, IT, etc.].
- Familiarity with ISO standards or other compliance frameworks.
